IS.Slider installs easily and is portable between workspaces thanks to standard Internet technologies. It runs on virtually all common desktop PCs with an Internet connection, so you can use it wherever you surf the web. IS.Slider updates automatically and seamlessly when new versions are available. It does not require any on-site maintenance.

Customers can select the required data and content for each cost center and each individual user to optimize data subscription costs. IS.Entitlement ensures that the selected scope and correct quality of data (real-time or delayed) are available to each user, regardless where or when he or she uses IS.Slider. IS.Entitlement is an integral part of IS.Slider architecture.

IS.Slider System Requirements

IS.Slider requires a PC equipped with the following hardware:

• Pentium II processor or better at 600 MHz, recommended 1 GHz
• 128 MB RAM, highly recommended are 256 MB
• at least 110 MB of hard disk space to install the Java plug-in
• 1024 x 768 screen resolution

The PC needs the following software:

• Windows 95, 98, NT4, 2000, ME or XP (Windows is a registered trademark of the Microsoft® Corporation).
• Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, or Netscape 4.x (Note that IS.Slider has not been tested with Mozilla, Opera and other browsers. It will not run on Netscape 7.)
• Sun Java plug-in J2SE 1.4.2 as JRE which IS.Slider will offer to install automatically in IE browsers when it is first started. Note that you need administrator rights in order to install the plug-in.
• System library for the DDE interface to export IS.Slider data to spreadsheets (available with login).
